Ava didn’t sit in the chair across from his desk like most students did. Instead, she leaned against the edge, arms crossed lightly beneath her chest. Her skirt hiked ever so slightly as she perched there, and Liam’s gaze instinctively followed the lines of her legs before he caught himself and looked away.
“I had a question about the Keats essay,” she said casually. “But honestly… I think I just wanted to see you.”
